As a seasoned Financial Adviser, Beverly Wendt serves a diverse client base that includes individuals, families, small to mid-sized businesses, corporations and institutions. By integrating and leveraging the combined resources and experience of her team, as well as using an extensive network of tax and legal experts, Beverly is on the cutting edge of financial management strategies.
With almost thirty years of combined investment and financial experience, Beverly works closely with clients to develop customized financial plans and investment portfolios. These strategies are designed to pursue both short- and long-term financial needs, helping provide financial confidence for all clients.

Beverly earned her CFP designation and is a graduate of Hofstra University’s MS program. She has received numerous prestigious industry awards over the years including four Gold Level Awards, one Super Achiever Award and five Vincent C. Bowhers Quality Awards, recognition by the Presidents Clubs, Honor Clubs and President’s Conference as well as eight Pinnacle clubs. Beverly is also a lifetime member of MDRT as well as Court of the Table. Taking a page out of her own history, she uses her teaching background to promote financial awareness.
Wendt’s dedication overlaps into the community as a member of Kiwanis for six years, where she served as President and Board Director. Under her leadership at Three Village Kiwanis Club, she spearheaded a program supporting twenty-six families who rely on the assistance of soup kitchen and was instrumental in the delivery of over 200 gifts to children around the holidays.

Barbara Wilkins/Administrative Assistant
Barbara Wilkins has been with the firm for over 31 years. In her capacity as Administrative Assistant to Beverly Wendt, she is tasked with handling all types of administrative functions including resolving conflicts and handling situations involving clerical and administrative issues in addition to general office functions. Barbara is also responsible for confidential and time sensitive delivery of financial materials. As a key member of the Wendt team, Barbara prepares and executes routine correspondence including letters, memos and reports. In this role, Ms. Wilkins reviews and processes applications, policies and procedures including contracts, records management, bookkeeping, licensing, and insurances. Additionally, she oversees equipment servicing and office supplies purchasing.
Barbara has earned numerous certificates, AIAA and ACS. She resides in East Patchogue, NY.
Shelley Platt, Client Relations Representative
Shelley, who grew up in New York City, began her career as a model and dancer in New York and Boston. After marrying, she took a break to raise three children. Shelley then returned to the workplace through her interest in helping people via public and private fundraising. Her activities involved both domestic and overseas exposure and experience. She also volunteered her time to help raise awareness and funds for a battered woman’s group for which she received special recognition from leading politicians in Mass.
When the opportunity presented itself, Shelley returned to school as an adult and enrolled at Lesley University in Mass., to pursue an undergraduate program in communication. During her studies she did special projects, including producing a documentary on ethnic survivors in Cuba. She travelled to Europe with school officials for a special study program.
Shelley also worked with a leading retailer in Western Mass. planning events at the store level which raised awareness and drove traffic to the store. Her events involved bringing together, local merchants, celebrities and store brands in an efficient mutually beneficial manner.
Shelley has recently returned to her New York roots and has joined the team working closely with Beverly Wendt. Shelley rounds out the team with her superior communication skills and customer satisfaction focus.
In her private time Shelley enjoys cooking, Yoga, swimming, bicycle riding and of course spending time with her children and their families.
Barbara Rempe, LUTFC, Marketing Assistant
With over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, Barbara Rempe serves as Marketing Assistant for the Wendt team. In this capacity, she is responsible for marketing the financial services offered by the team. This includes finding new clients via prospecting calls, event seminar attendees and referrals from existing clients of the Wendt team. Barbara is also tasked with scheduling follow-up meetings, appointment setting and providing general financial information to potential clients. Barbara resides in Rockaway Point, NY.
